What could be better on a warm July evening than spending it
with friends and neighbors? Add some ice cream and live music and that equals a
good time. That's just what happened on July 25th at the Lucas County
Historical Museum when approximately one hundred and fifty people gathered to
enjoy music performed by Sharon Seuferer, Carol Oliver and Cindy Baker of
Lacona and Craig Wright of Milo . Ice Cream was served by LCHS board
members. While it was a little muggy during the day, that evening turned out to
be perfect to sit outside and listen to the sounds of live music while
enjoying a light breeze on the patio outside the big red barn on the LCHS
Museum campus. Guests strolled around the grounds and toured the buildings at
their leisure. Board members and volunteers were about answering questions and
visiting with guests. It was a relaxing evening for all.
